Od Asmodaya - II quest z tablicy ogłoszeń

[UWAGA, opowiadanie zawiera drastyczne sceny (kanibalizm)]

Slowly strolling through the streets of the town, he looked around as if searching for something remotely interesting. Nor would he complain if he finally found something to eat. He knew from experience that in cities it was easier to find a seller with fresh meat, or even a rat. If he found nothing here, he would have to go hunting, which was not one of his favorite activities. It was uncomfortable for him to run for a long time, and because of one of his legs he was unable to reach full speed, which caused problems with the chase. Usually Benares and Eden hunted for all of them, including test subjects, but now they were absent.
"Excuse me! Help me, I beg you!!" a loud scream echoed behind him, and he felt someone's teeth rudely yank his tail.
He turned to look for the source of the commotion and saw no one at first. Only after lowering his eyes did he notice a small, fluffy female. Fear flickered in her eyes as she saw his face and drew back a little, as if afraid she was about to get hit.
"I don-"
"Please! My bunny is gone! I only left the door open for a while! I saw his tracks in the snow but- I'm willing to pay!!"
Her softly squeaky voice rang in his ears as a flood of words escaped her lips. She spoke so fast he could barely understand her, but already at this point he was able to do whatever she wanted, just to shut her up.
"Alright, fuck it. Just stop screaming. I'll find that bunny, just show me it's tracks and scent" he rolled his eyes, sighing and internally whipping himself for coming here in the first place.
"Thank you, sir, I knew I could count on someone that…."
"Don't flatter me, my dear. Let's just get it over with."
"Right, right." She cleared her throat.

Chasing after a fucking bunny to save his fluffy ass from hungry wolves, just like himself. Maybe it wasn't even that bad after all. Since it is a pet adapted to wolves, it may be less scared and will be an easier target. But on the other hand, the sum offered by the female was also interesting, and she would feed him. Not as if he was in dire need of money, he just liked making it.

Suddenly he caught a stronger track, just at the entrance to a small grove. Following it, after a while he also noticed the small paw prints in the snow, still quite fresh. The smell of the rabbit alone made his mouth water, but he remembered the amount promised by the female and tried to contain himself. Then, he heard the snapping of twigs, followed by a soft rustling, as if something was shaking the leaves of a bush. Using his magic, he hid in the shadows, out of anything's sight, and peeked behind a bush. Immediately, a pleased smile appeared on his face as he spotted the fluffy bunny he had probably been sent for. Sneaking up, he approached the animal and as quickly as he was able, he caught it in his teeth. Using a tremendous amount of willpower, he refrained from clenching his jaw as the animal began to struggle in his mouth. Just the thought of biting down and hearing the crackle of tiny cracking bones followed by the taste of blood on his tongue, made him dangerously excited, even a bit aroused. He set off at a light jog toward the village, presumably taking a shortcut.
"Excuse me!" someone shouted at him from the yard of the cottage to his right.
He looked back at the older wolf who had just stepped out of the building.
"I see you are carrying a siliati bunny, is it alive?"
Asmoday nodded, loosening his grip slightly and letting the pet move to confirm his words.
"You see, I'm the orphanage keeper. My puppies dream of a bunny just like this one, and they are very hard to come by. If I pay you, will you be able to give it to me?"
A wide, polite smile appeared on the old wolf's face, and a pouch filled with money appeared in front of him, apparently heavier than the one proposed by the owner of the pet. Asmoday shrugged and nodded again, then followed the older male into the orphanage. After closing the door behind him, he set the bunny on the ground and pushed it deeper into the house. The pet ran away startled, rushing blindly ahead and looking for any shelter.
"Would you like to meet our puppies? After all, you made their day!" the old man stroked the bunny with his paw and let the visitor follow him to the back of the house.

He was starving. He was so hungry, that he couldn't think straight, all his senses were strengthened and all he could think about was sinking his teeth into some fresh, juicy meat. Asmoday already started his hunt, looking for a scent of some bigger prey. Suddenly, he heard a noise behind him, as if something heavy had smashed into fluff. He turned around and spotted a female cub, that tripped and fell headfirst into the snow. After a moment of wiggling, the pup emerged and looked up, meeting his gaze.
"Oh! Hello, sir!" the cub's tail began to wag merrily.
"Are you following me?" the wolf looked around as if searching for some conspiracy or trick.
"Yes! I saw that bunny you gave to us and wanted to say thank you in person!" the puppy approached, head held high and tail wagging as if incredibly proud of itself.
"That was quite a long walk, are you alone, little one?" Asmoday's eyes lit up slightly, he had to lick his lips quickly to keep the saliva from dripping down his mouth.
"Yeah! I thought you will protect me in case of danger. You are so huge and sooo scary! I'd like to look like that too someday, sir!"
"You are a brave one, aren't you? It's very dangerous to be so far from home, especially for such a cutie like yourself."
"I am! I want to be a warrior someday. Are you a warrior? You look like one, I've never seen a wolf so big! Mr. Cole looked like a midget standing next to you" the pup laughed, bursting with delight.
Asmoday stopped listening to the puppy as soon as it said it was alone. All the rest of its words blended into one, and the male couldn't even think, consumed with hunger and thirst for blood. One thought looped through his mind, drowning out everything else and slowly driving him insane. He quickly realized he wasn't strong enough to resist the thought, when he started panting and his eyes misted over, making him see only the puppy.
"Sir, are you okay? You are breathing very weird-" the cub stuttered, and his tail stopped wagging.
The pup realized the danger, but far too late. Before it could turn and run, the larger wolf leapt toward it. Huge, gaping jaws were the last thing the pup saw before his death. After a crack of breaking bones filled the forest, blood gushed into the male's mouth. He moaned before his legs gave up, making him fall into the snow. He devoured the little, sweet body, shredding it to shreds, scarlet blood stained the white, once pristine snow.
